REGISTRATION / RESIDENCY FOR 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR
MONDAY APRIL 23 through FRIDAY MAY 11
  • Sign in to your Parent Portal account
  • Click on the registration link near the bottom of the left menu bar
  • Complete and submit your registration
  • ALL GRADE LEVELS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVE RESIDENCY for the 18-19 school year
  • Go to any Portage school and present a photo ID and 2 proofs of residency
  • Portage High School will available for residency verification from 8am-2pm, 4/23-5/11 (CLOSED 5/8)

GRADUATION INFORMATION

ATTENTION SENIORS: 
Graduation is just around the corner...JUNE 3rd! Have you completed the following?
  • Order your cap and gown! Call 1-800-Jostens or order online at jostens.com.
  • Pre-register for the ceremony photos at GradImages.com!
  • Check with your guidance counselor to confirm your diploma type!
  • Finish strong!

Jostens will be delivering caps and gowns and graduation product on Wednesday, April 25th during lunch.  A statement will be sent if you have a balance due.  Please pay online or call 1-800-Jostens to pay by debit or credit card 24-hours in advance.  Jostens will only accept cash or money order at delivery. CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS PAYMENT.  If you have not yet placed your cap and gown order, please call 1-800-Jostens immediately.

STUDENT PARKING PERMITS

You MUST HAVE WITH YOU this application completed and signed by the student and the parent/guardian, a valid State of Indiana driver's license showing your current address in the PTS district, and up to four CURRENT registration forms for the vehicles that you intend to register. The cost of the permit is $10.

NEW SERVICE LEARNING OPPORTUNITY!
Promise Porter County needs Portage High School student volunteers to help with the enrollment of Portage first grade students at back to school events over the next several weeks. Tasks will include making sure computers are set to proper website, re-setting computers to website if needed, filling out certificates, etc.  If you are interested in helping the next generation of students get a jump on post-secondary education, please contact Julie Giorgi, Promise Porter County Coordinator, at jgiorgi@valpoymca.org.
