Portage High School senior Olivia Pierce has been awarded the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship for Porter County.
This prestigious scholarship earns her full tuition and fees to any Indiana college or university plus $900 per year for books. To earn the scholarship, Olivia demonstrated academic excellence, school involvement, and future promise through a rigorous application and interview process.
Olivia is a member of several clubs, groups, and sports at PHS to include National Honor Society, the girls golf team, and the unified track & field team. She is an intern for the PTS Communications Department, taking photos and creating social media graphics and videos for several of our athletic teams in the district. While she is still narrowing down her college choice from the offers she has received, she intends to pursue a career in sports broadcasting in the hopes of one day working for ESPN.
