Summer School Information
Summer 2025 Registration Information
Current PTS students will register through Power School.

The following classes are available:
English 9, 10, 11
Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry
Geography, US History, Government, Economics
Biology, Integrated Chem/Physics, Earth Space Science
Intro to 2D Art
Preparing for College and Careers
Personal Finance
Intro to Business
PE I and PE II
Health
Pathway online (Hospitality or Natural Resources)
Computing Foundations for the Digital Age (new graduation requirement beginning with the class of 2029 for non Computer Science students)
Summer school sign ups will open for grades 8-11 on February 3. Students or Parents can register for classes through the Power School website. 100% attendance is mandatory. Any missed time will result in the student receiving an F for the class. If the student has an extenuating circumstance that causes missed time, the parent should contact Jacob Cohen.
When you log in, on the lower left side it will say Summer School Schedule. Open Course Options and select the course to be taken during the preferred session. If a student needs Credit Recovery classes in addition to an in-person, select the in person class and also CR Summer School Lab class (2 classes will be visible for that session) for that session.
In order to take the CR Summer School Lab a student MUST be enrolled in an in person class as well.
All courses have a max capacity and will automatically close when full. Courses that do not meet a minimum enrollment will not be offered in person.
Session 1 June 6th - June 18th (8 days)
7:30 am - 12:30pm
Session 1 deadline to enroll: April 2
Session 2 July 21st-July 31st (8 days)
7:30 am - 12:30 pm
Session 2 deadline to enroll: May 27
No classes on Friday June 13 and Friday July 25
Free Breakfast and Lunch for all Students.
Transportation will be provided for those students not in the Walk Zone, A Google Form link will be emailed to be completed to determine if a bus service is needed. The bus app, “My Ride K-12” will provide updated bus information after the last day of school for Summer School, or call Transportation at 219-763-8080
Students should see their counselor with any questions or Mrs. Garcia during lunches in the North Cafeteria.
