For the “Dollars for Scholars” scholarships, You MUST complete the student profile in ChapterNet and apply online to be considered. Indiana University Bloomington Group Scholars Program
IUB Groups Scholars Program
Attention IU Bloomington bound seniors. If you receive free or reduced lunch or if you are a first generation college student, you may qualify for IU Groups Scholars. Minimum academic requirements also includes at least two years of a world language and Pre-Calculus. Groups Scholars provides academic, social, emotional, and sometimes financial support to its members. More information about IUB Group Scholars will be released in the early Fall, please reach out to Mrs. Shrader with questions.
January Scholarships
GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program
Award
GE-Reagan Foundation Scholars:
- Earn a $10,000 renewable scholarship - up to $40,000 total - for tuition, school fees, books, supplies, and on-campus room and board
- Attend an exclusive, all-expenses-paid Scholars Retreat in California
- Receive support throughout their leadership journeys in college and beyond
Eligibility
Candidates must:
- Demonstrate the attributes of leadership, integrity, drive, and citizenship within their communities, schools, and workplaces
- Display strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent)
- Be citizens of the United States of America
- Be current high school seniors attending high school within the United States, (including any U.S. territories or commonwealths), and graduating in winter 2024 or spring 2025. Homeschooled applicants and applicants living on a U.S. Armed Forces base and attending high school outside the U.S. are eligible.
- Plan to enroll in a full‑time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four‑year college or university in the United States for the entire 2025-2026 academic school year

Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards
Award
Up to 15 recipients will receive $36,000.

- 13-19 years old
- Self-identified as Jewish

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
Award
JRF Scholars receive college scholarships of up to $35,000 over four years and are financially sponsored to attend JRF‘s annual, four-day “Mentoring and Leadership Conference“ in New York City and other events throughout the year.
Eligibility
- Be a graduating, minority high school senior;
- Be a United States citizen;
- Present evidence of financial need;
- Demonstrate a record of academic excellence;
- Demonstrate leadership potential and a dedication to community service;
- Plan to attend an accredited and JRF approved 4-year college/university within the United States or affiliated with a United States based college or university;
- Have not accrued more than 25% of credits needed to graduate from college.

INACAC SCHOLARSHIP
Award
Scholarships will range from $500 to $1,000, and will be awarded to the students' Freshman year (non-renewable). The award will be paid directly to the school and may be applied to assist with tuition, fees, books, or housing and food.

- Be a high school senior entering an Indiana College or University.
- Submit a letter of recommendation.

APIA Scholarship Program
Award
Scholarship amounts range from $2,500 one-year awards to $20,000 multi-year awards.
Eligibility
- Be able to describe your ethnicity, heritage, or ancestry in relation to the countries, territories, or lands in Asia or the Pacific Islands
- Be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the United States; citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau are also eligible to apply.
- Be enrolling or continuing as a degree-seeking undergraduate student in a U.S. accredited college or university in Fall 2025

Eligibility
The contest is open to United States high school students in grades nine through twelve attending public, private, parochial, or home schools; U.S. students under the age of twenty enrolled in a high school correspondence/GED program in any of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, or the U.S. territories; and U.S. citizens attending schools overseas. Past winners and finalists are not eligible to participate. Employees of John Hancock Financial Services and members of their families are not eligible to participate.

Legacy Foundation Universal Scholarship Application
Award
The amount varies depending on the scholarship awarded.

Legacy Foundation actively administers more than 45 scholarship funds for high school seniors and current college students. Their application process is designed to make it easier and less time consuming for students to apply for the scholarships available. Melvin Kruger Endowed/ Accredited University Scholarship
Award
$5,000 awards will be granted up to a maximum of twelve high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll, or students who are already enrolled, in a full-time course of study directly related to a career in the roofing industry or building construction.
Eligibility
Construction Management student applicants shall be:
- Enrolled at the undergraduate level, regardless of industry affiliation, in a program leading to Bachelor of Science in Construction management degrees that typically are accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCCE), http://www.acce-hq.org.
- High school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study.

Award

Alexander Hamilton Scholars Award
Award
$1,000 (Two $500 cash awards) and admission into the 5-year Alexander Hamilton Scholars Empowerment Program.

- Have demonstrated need

The Dream.us Opportunity Scholarship
Award
This scholarship is for up to $100,000 in total for a bachelor’s degree at one of our Opportunity Partner Colleges.
Eligibility
You are eligible to apply for our scholarship if you meet the following eligibility criteria.
- Are undocumented and came to the United States before November 1, 2019, and have continuously lived in the United States since then or have DACA or TPS.
- Came to the United States before the age of 16 (if you were born in the U.S. – you are not eligible for our scholarship).
- Have significant unmet financial need.
- Live in and have graduated or will graduate from a high school in a targeted locked-out state by the end of the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Graduated or will graduate with a high school GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale or have a cumulative college/university GPA of 2.5 or better.
- Intend to relocate to and enroll full-time in a bachelor’s degree program at an Opportunity Partner College in the Fall term of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship
Award
The Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship provides high-achieving high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in education the opportunity to earn a renewable scholarship of up to $10,000 each year for four academic years. In exchange, students agree to teach for five years at an eligible Indiana school or repay the corresponding, prorated amount of the scholarship.
Eligibility
- Must be an Indiana resident
- Must be a US citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Must be a current high school senior or college student in Indiana
- Must have graduated or will graduate from an Indiana accredited high school or non-accredited nonpublic high school
- Must be able to utilize the scholarship for at least two full academic years
- Must meet one of the three Academic Requirements
- Rank in the top 20% of high school graduating class
- Have a top 20% ACT or SAT score
- Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Must currently attend or plan to attend an eligible Indiana institution as a full-time student
- Must pursue or intend to pursue a course of study that would enable the student to teach at an eligible Indiana school after college graduation
- Must obtain a license to teach in Indiana and serve as a teacher in an eligible Indiana school for five years after college graduation
- Must maintain a 3.0/4.0 GPA, complete 30 credit hours per year or their equivalent and meet all other requirements established by their program to renew the scholarship
- Must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid each year
- Must not be in overpayment or default on a federal student loan or grant
- Must complete the service requirement or have all funds provided converted to a loan that must be repaid

Union Plus Scholarship
Award
Amounts range from $500 to $4,000.
Eligibility
- Current and retired members of unions participating in any Union Plus program, their spouses and their dependent children (as defined by IRS regulations) are eligible. Grandchildren are not eligible unless a legal dependent (as defined by IRS regulations). At least one year of continuous union membership by the applicant, applicant's spouse or parent (if applicant is a dependent). The one year membership minimum must be satisfied by May 31, 2026.
- Members of participating unions from the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands and Canada are eligible.
- The applicant must be accepted into a U.S. accredited college, university, community college, technical or trade school at the time awards are issued. Awards must be used for the 2025 - 2026 school year.

Award
A scholarship of $10,000 per year for four years of college
Eligibility
- Must be a high school FEMALE senior planning to enroll in a four-year undergraduate program for Fall 2025
- Demonstrates significant financial need (household income up to $75,000)
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, including all U.S. territories
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5, displays strong leadership potential, and an interest in a business or STEM field

Elk National Foundation Scholarship Program
Award
A scholarship of $4,000
Eligibility
- Any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the Order on or before April 1, 2022, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2022. The Elk must also be a paid-up member for the last two contiguous years through March 31, 2025. *Great-grandchildren are NOT eligible.

Eligibility
The scholarship is available to graduating male students attending a public or private high school within the service areas of the Gary Alumnae Chapter (Gary, Lake, LaPorte and Porter County). Porter-Starke Services Foundation Impact Scholarship Award
Award
The maximum amount for a single Impact Scholarship is $1,000.
Eligibility
Applicants must be a graduating high school senior in Porter County, Starke County, and the City of Gary in Lake County, Indiana whose life has been impacted by mental health or who has made a positive impact on the mental health of others. Applicants must have been accepted to an accredited college, university, or vocational school and pursuing a two-year or four-year degree.

March Scholarships
James and Betty Dye Foundation Scholarship
Award
150 students will be awarded $2,000 per semester toward tuition for a maximum of eight (8) consecutive full-time undergraduate fall and spring semesters ($16,000 total). 10 students will be awarded $5,500 per semester toward tuition for a maximum of eight (8) consecutive full-time undergraduate fall and spring semesters ($44,000 total).
Eligibility
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must live in Lake, Newton, Porter, or Jasper County, Indiana
- Must be a current senior at a high school in Lake, Newton, Porter, or Jasper County, Indiana or homeschooled
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0)
- Must have a minimum composite 1200 SAT/25 ACT or greater (may be superscored)
- Must be admitted unconditionally as a full-time undergraduate degree-seeking student to one of the following universities:

Porter County Farm Bureau Scholarship
Award
Multiple scholarships in the amounts of $250- $1000 depending on number of applicants.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be the child of an Indiana Farm Bureau member or a student member and remain such while the scholarship is in force; The Porter County Scholarship requires a Porter County membership for at least 1 year. Please check the county your parent is a member of before applying to county specific scholarships.
- Be a high school senior accepted in an approved/accredited college or university; OR Be a fulltime student attending an approved/accredited college or university. Students are eligible to win the county scholarship twice.

Award
First Trust branches in Michigan City, La Porte, Valparaiso and Wheatfield will each award a $1,000 scholarship for a graduating senior pursuing a four year degree.
Eligibility

Award

Award
The committee shall recommend the amount and number of scholarships to be awarded annually.
Eligibility
Applicant:
- Must be an Indiana Resident
- Must be committed to pursuing an education and career in a law enforcement field and at Indiana college or university
- Must be a current member of the Indiana Sheriff's Association OR a dependent child or grandchild of a current member of the association (If you do not meet the membership requirement, an application for membership is attached to the application. Louie's Tux Shop Model Search
Award
One male and one female will be selected as the “Top Model” and each will win a $1,000 scholarship from Louie’s Tux Shop. Winners will be selected on or before December 31, 2023.
Eligibility
Entrants must be 15 years of age and must be enrolled in high school at the time of the photo shoot. Students must be able to attend the photo shoot in South Bend, Indiana. Students must complete and sign a standard release document along with a parental consent form prior to the shoot. Students are responsible for their own travel, meals & lodging.

Model Search is a regional talent search being conducted by Louie’s Tux Shop. Participating students will be required to submit their photo along with school name and graduation year online here and select individuals will be invited to participate in a prom photo shoot sponsored by Louie’s Tux Shop. Students have until the end of the voting period on 10/13/2024 to sign up.
Louie’s Tux Shop will select (5) male and (5) female entrants to be invited to the Model Search Photo Shoot scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 27, 2024. An additional (5) male and (5) female students will be selected via online voting which will begin on September 1, 2024 and will run until 11:59 p.m. EST on October 13, 2024. Voting will be limited to one vote per electronic device per day.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity: International High School Essay Contest
Award

Award
If selected as a Chick-fil-A Community Scholar, the student will be granted up to a $25,000 award. Twelve (12) awards will be granted. Amounts of the final awards will be determined by Chick-fil-A, Inc.

Applicants must:
- Reside in the United States (U.S.), Puerto Rico, or Canada
- Be current high school seniors/students in their final year of upper or higher secondary school, college/university undergraduate (including CEGEP students) or graduate students or planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university (or equivalent), or full-time study at a vocational-technical school or CEGEP institution for the upcoming academic year
- Be involved in community service, extracurricular activities and/or a leadership role in the twelve (12) months prior to application deadline (for example, volunteering for nonprofits, helping others less fortunate, tutoring/mentoring, etc.)
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent)

Voice of Democracy Scholarship
Award
Prizes and scholarships can be awarded at the Post, District, state and national level. Department (State) winners receive an all-expense-paid trip to Washington DC, to tour the city, be honored by the VFW and its Auxiliary and receive their portion of $171,000 in national awards, the top scholarship being $35,000.
Eligibility
The Voice of Democracy is open to students in grades 9-12 by the Oct. 31 deadline who are enrolled in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program in the United States, its territories and possessions; or dependents of U.S. military or civilian personnel in overseas schools. Although U.S. citizenship is not required, students must be lawful U.S. permanent residents or have applied for permanent residence (the application for which has not been denied) and intends to become a U.S. citizen
at the earliest opportunity allowed by law. Foreign exchange students, students age 20 or over, previous Voice of Democracy first place state winners, GED or Adult Education Students are ineligible.

Award

The Youth Awards - Hispanic Heritage Foundation
Award
Youth Award recipients will receive up to a $4,000 educational grant depending on the selected category to use for their college education or to fund a community service effort. National Youth Award recipients will be celebrated at the National Youth Awards ceremony.

STEPHEN J. BRADY STOP HUNGER SCHOLARSHIPS
Award
Each student selected as a national Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarship Scholar will receive a $10,000 scholarship, as well as a $5,000 grant made in their name to the hunger-related charity of their choice in their local community
Eligibility
- All applicants must be enrolled in an accredited educational institution (kindergarten through graduate school) in the United States.
- All applicants must be ages 5-25 and meet the age requirement by September 5, 2024.
- All applicants must have demonstrated on-going commitment to their community by performing unpaid volunteer services impacting hunger in the United States within the last 12 months.
- All applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States who reside in the contiguous United States, Alaska, and Hawaii only.

Regeneron Science Talent Search
Award
Three hundred scholars are awarded $2,000; with an additional $2,000 going to their high schools to support STEM education. The top 300 scholars will also receive an invitation to apply to Regeneron’s summer internship program. All 40 finalists win an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, DC for the Regeneron Science Talent Institute where they explain their research to some of the country’s top scientists and compete for the top 10 awards. The top award is $250,000.

Jack Kent Cooke College Scholarship Program
Award
The amount of the award varies by student, based on the cost of attendance as well as the amount of other scholarships or grants a recipient will receive. The maximum amount of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s scholarship is $55,000 per year.
Eligibility
- Graduate from a U.S. high school in spring 2025
- Intend to enroll in an accredited four-year college beginning in fall 2025
- Earn a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.75 or above
- Demonstrate unmet financial need. They will consider applicants with family annual gross income up to $95,000. During the selection process, the Foundation will conduct a full financial review which will take into account all income and assets of the student and the student’s parents.

Award
Nationally, 500 Dell Scholars are selected each year. All Dell Scholars receive:

Hagan Scholarship
Award
The Hagan Scholarship provides up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters.
Eligibility
- Must attend a public, private, charter, magnet, or STEM high school located in the United States.
- Must be fluent in the English language.
- Must be in the high school graduating class.
- Must have achieved a 3.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average.
- Must enroll in an eligible four-year or higher College or University the first fall semester following high school graduation. The Hagan Scholarship cannot be used to attend a community college, junior college, or online institution.
- Must maintain a four year or less graduation schedule in college, or complete the equivalent of a four year degree if in a professional program.
- Must work 240 hours from January 1, 2025 until September 1, 2025. Work must be regularly scheduled employment performed under supervision for compensation. Employment can be full-time or part-time, or a combination of the two.
- Applicant’s Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2023 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $100,000. “Household Income” is defined as the total income received by all members of a household living under the same roof.
- FAFSA information is not required from Applicants, only from Finalists in the spring of 2025.
- Must apply for Federal and State grants if eligible.
- Must not have a felony conviction.
