*Update November 2023 for the 2024-2025 school year

The mission of the Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (MCJROTC) is six fold: (1) To develop informed and responsible citizens; (2) To develop character, leadership, follower-ship, ethical behavior, and the desirable traits that build responsibility; (3) To enlighten the student about the elements and requirements of national security; (4) To teach the concepts of self-discipline, self-control, and confidence; (5) To develop an understanding of the reality of authority in ones life and a thoughtful respect for it, and (6) To enlighten the student to possible career and educational choices. This coeducational elective is designed to foster positive habits and attitudes that will enable the student to succeed regardless of his/her plans after high school. Cadets are required to wear a uniform one full school day each week. Cadets must maintain acceptable grooming standards. Uniforms are provided at no cost to the students.
